Hi Ladies,
Just asking that you keep the Jessie Davis
Family in your prayers. Not sure if you
have seen it in the news.
She's nine months pregnant and missing.
Her mom found her house in total disarray,
and her two year old son home alone. All
the boy will say is that, "Mommy's crying,
mommy broke the table, mommy's in rug"
Her purse was dumped, and bleach was
spilled all over the floor. Her mattress
was off the bed, the sheets and comforter
are gone.
It's been making me really sad, because
she lives like 15 to 20 minutes away from
me. I just hope she's okay, but by the
sounds of it she's probably not. Her
pictures look like she's a reallly sweet
girl, and happy too.

the other day i read that they found a
newborn baby girl with the cord still
attached on someone's doorstep about 30
minutes away. the dna tests aren't back
yet, which i think is weird since you'd
think they'd put a rush on that.
it's very sad. they think the little boy
was home alone for a couple days.

yea, I am hoping that if something bad
happened to that lady that the baby is
her's because now it's safe, but I hope
that lady is okay too.
They have phone records that she talked to
her mom from her home the night before
they found the boy home alone.
I'm so sad by all of this.

i heard about the woman who went missing
on the news yesterday and it made me cry.
that story just really struck me. they
played her mother's 911 call and it was so
heartbreaking. what an awful thing. i
contemplated posting about it but i didn't
because of the whole thing with the shaken
baby post. god, i hope she's okay
somewhere. i'm hoping and praying for a
happy outcome and for that family to be
strong.

Jessie Davis, whose baby is due July 3,
was last heard from in a phone call with
her mother on June 13. Two days later, her
mother checked on her home and found it in
shambles, with the furniture overturned, a
comforter missing and her 2-year-old
grandson wandering around alone.
'Mommy was crying'
The little boy told investigators:
“Mommy was crying. Mommy broke the
table. Mommy’s in rug.”
“We’re holding onto that hope that
maybe she’s still alive out there,”
said EquuSearch director Tim Miller.
“That would be the greatest thing in the
world, but realistically, we know after a
period of time that that normally
doesn’t happen.”
“We’re probably looking at somewhat of
a miracle in this case,” Miller said.
“We also know if that person is deceased
out there it’s very important we find
them as quickly as we can find them so
they can determine cause of death.”
Second search
On Wednesday, for the second time in three
days, investigators searched the home of
the man who fathered Davis’ 2-year-old
son and unborn daughter, although
authorities have repeatedly said Canton
police officer Bobby Cutts Jr. is not a
suspect.
Cutts, 30, told The (Canton) Repository he
had nothing to do with Davis’
disappearance, and that he has slept
little and had no appetite since the
26-year-old woman vanished.
Sheriff’s investigators and FBI agents
carried out more than a dozen white
cardboard boxes, a few brown bags and
three large black plastic bags during a
search that lasted more than three hours.
A legal order allowed investigators to
obtain some of Davis’ cell phone
records, which are being reviewed, Stark
County sheriff’s Chief Deputy Rick Perez
said at a news conference Wednesday.
Cutts, who also has two children with his
wife, Kelly, said they are separated but
have not filed for divorce and that his
wife knew he had a relationship with
Davis.
He said he last spoke with Davis at 8 p.m.
on June 13, about 90 minutes before she
last spoke with her mother.
Cutts’ mother, Renee Horne, told the
Repository that agents at her son’s home
were looking for Davis’ cell phone and a
quilt missing from Davis' home.
Horne said FBI agents questioned her son
twice Wednesday, and read him his Miranda
rights during the second interview.
Investigators also took Cutts’ two cell
phones, Horne said.
Newborn found
Meanwhile, authorities said DNA tests
would not be finished until next week on a
newborn girl left on a porch about 45
miles away from Davis’ home. Authorities
are trying to determine if the infant,
less than 24 hours old when it was found
Monday evening in Wooster, is related to
Davis. A bottle and can of formula left in
the basket with the newborn were sent to
be tested for fingerprints or any other
evidence.
On its Web site, the FBI lists the case as
a kidnapping. But FBI spokesman Scott
Wilson in Cleveland said the label is
standard whenever foul play is a
possibility, and the agency doesn’t know
if Davis was abducted or not.
The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for
information leading to Davis’
whereabouts. EquuSearch added a $5,000
reward.
Thursday morning, scores volunteers
gathered at a firehouse near a sign that
read, “Pray for Jessie,” to help
EquuSearch’s efforts.

you would think if it was the toddlers
father who did it that the boy would have
said something about "daddy". it makes me
think it would have been someone the boy
didn't know - if it were an abduction -
but it sure sounds like that's what it
was.

yea i know, it's really scary. I just
don't know what to think. THis is way to
close to my home for comfort. It's only
about 15 - 20 minutes away from me. Makes
me scared to even have kids.

Yes that's true. i didn't even think
about putting this post on here and
scaring anyone. I am just upset about it
and stuff.
She just seemed like a really sweet
person. I'm wondering if it was her ex's
wife, or if she had something to do with
it. Except the boy probly would have
recognized her since it would be his dad's
wife though. They are separated but not
divorced, and Jessie was just getting back
into a relationship with him from what the
news says. Either that or she is just
really trusting person and let someone she
didn't know into her house. It says there
was no sign of forced entry or anythng.
Just too scary for me.

this world coming to? My thoughts go out
to her and this family and other family's
in similar situations!
