Well, the doctors decided to go ahead and
do a swallow study on Tyler this morning
at 10 to further determin if he is
asperating or not because he is still
coughing pretty bad when he is fed, even
when he is fed through his feeding tube.
The results should be in this afternoon or
tomorrow. I am hoping that if he is
asperating it can be solved by thickening
his milk or putting him on meds. When a
baby has a severe asperation problem they
some times have to do surgery. If you all
don't mind please pray for Tyler again and
that he will not have to go through
surgery, he has been through alot more
than some and he will only be a month old
on Tuesday. Other than that he is still
holding his own and his vital signs look
great. I will update again a.s.a.p.

i hope everything turns out fine and he
can come home soon
maybe he coughs for the same reason
valkyrie does, my doc said some babys need
time to get use to their tounges and the
nipple and the fluid and all that and they
have such a strong gag reflex that they
just end up gaging and coughing
granted valkyrie doesnt do it all the time
but she does it probably at 50% of her
feedings
