How Long to Wait After I Start Bcp?

I started Levora 2 weeks ago. How long do
I have to wait to make sure it's working
(preventing pregnancy)?

Most pills say in the packets when they
become effective, and your doctor should
have told you as well, or told you if you
asked.
Most pills are effective after one week of
proper use. If you started on the first
day of your period, then you were
protected immediately.
