Baby Slings Posted: 06-22-07 12:44pm
Has anyone used one of these and where did
you find a cheap one?
My husband and I are obsessed with the
idea and everyone says that they are so
light to have around you. I am just
wondering what everyones experience with
baby slings have been?
I had a snugli, a sling, a back pack, and
a hip hammock. Snugli is great for small
infants. I could never get my sling to
work right. I think I am too small or
something. I love the hip hammock now.
Its great. Backpack is great for long
mountain hikes.

Hey, I just ordered a Maya Wrap ring sling
from parentingbynature.com and should get
it on Monday...can't wait!!! Its basicaly
the same as yours (beautiful by the way I
checked out the link!!!) It will be great
if you spend alot of time outdoors. The
"tail" can be used for nursing and
providing shade from the sun and warmth
from the wind!
I got a snugli as a shower gift and my
little guy loved it. Only problem was
that I couldn't seem to get it close
enough to my body so he just kind of
dangled there and I didn't have the use of
both my hands which kind of defeats the
purpose!
I will let you know my thoughts when I get
it on Monday!
