Twat!? Dear god yes. It's an offensive name for the vulva and vagina, often used by males to insult females.

"Shut up you twat!"

Don't convince him. Take it to the pawn shop, tell him it broke, and use the money to buy a cool game for the family to play. LOL
NO kidding! That's what I need to do. It's hard because I love movies!! It's so nice to just veg out on a movie after a hard day.

When I was in college, I didn't watch tv and didn't miss it. I was way too busy. I am busy now and say, "I have no time." Probably because tv sucks up my life. Perhaps I can try to convince my husband. If not, I may just purposely disassemble something and say the tv no longer works and see if we can finally go without.

In college, I was roommates with a girl who grew up with no tv. Her parents didn't believe in it. She was one of the smartest, sweetest and calmest people I have ever met in my life. She didn't talk about the latest and greatest movie out but she certainly wasn't boring.

My sons are in daycare two to three days a week. When I picked them up the other day, my 4 month old was in front of the tv all alone. He was watching baby Einstein, which isn't that bad but I was pretty ticked off. I told them I don't want him watching more than one baby Einstein each time he comes over. Grrrr..

Ugh I hate TV. I seriously don't know why I pay for it every month. There is never anything on it. My kids watch around 1 hour of tv a day. Half an hour in morning, half an hour after nursery. I hardly ever watch it. As soon as they go to bed i come on the computer
