I am just wondering if any of you girls
have experienced really achy hips and your
butt during the last few weeks of
pregnancy? Mine are aching so bad its not
even funny anymore. Is it one of the
things my body will do while preparing to
go in labor? I feel as tho my butt cheeks
are starting to move apart! Oh and my back
is killing me. I just want my lil man
here!

i've been having some lower back pain,
almost a pain in the butt. i got my guy
to massage it the other evening and then
put some heat on it and i slept like a
baby. i only got up one time that night
to go to the washroom, it was amazing. if
you can get someone to give you a little
back rub go for it. i think you can also
try using a tennis ball or two if there
is no one to rub your back. just put them
on your lower back and stand up against a
wall so they are pressing into your back
then just move them around a little. it
beats getting a sore shoulder trying to
massage yourself. hope you feel better.

Thanks Kaerbear! I usually get my hubby to
massage my back before I go to sleep. That
is if he hasn't already gone to bed. He
has been working long hours to make ends
meet while I wait for my sick benifits to
kick in, and then Maternity. I feel like I
should be the one giving him the massage!!
He worked 85.5 hours this week and is
exhausted. Poor guy!!
I will have to get a tennis ball and give
that a try.

i totally know what you mean. my guy is
working so hard these days. well, he
always works hard. so i don't ask him for
back rubs often. the good thing is i
aaaalways give him back rubs, and foot
rubs and i'm just always rubbing him all
over lol. so
when i want one he doesn't mind.

Thats good then. I haven't had much energy
to do much of anything lately. My hubby
always works hard too, it just seems like
he is always working and never home.
Working 7 days a week is really wearing
him down. He was supposed to take today
off, and since he only worked 12 hours
yesterday instead of his usual 14 +
lately, he decided that he was going to
work today too. Ugh....
I wish I could .S.L.E.E.P. I have now been
up since 4 am, and its 5:20. Yuck. Since
our alarm will be going off shortly I
figured I may as well just get up as
laying on my back any longer and not being
asleep is killing me. So here I sit, doing
laundry. What fun!!!
Where at in Canada are you Kaerbear?

manitoba. that's funny. i guess you must
be out east, ontario? i just got up too
and it's 3:50 here (i guess about 5:50
your time). i hear you on the
sleeplessness too. although it is nice
and cool right now so i'm going to keep
trying. we had a wicked storm with hail
and possibly a tornado nearby tonight.
the thunder was really shaking the house
up quite a bit. we are in the middle of
renovating our house right now and my guy
is doing most of the work himself during
his holiday so it's been a crazy day. i
guess i'm lucky that, with all the work
hours he puts in he gives me pretty much
all of his spare time so i don't have to
miss him too much. i know that's rough
when they are away all the time. i can't
believe you're doing laundry in the middle
of the night lol. i hope you get some
rest soon.

Haha.. I figured that since I was up and
couldn't sleep I may as well utilize my
time up. I even frosted the cake I made
last night, made hubby's lunch for work,
and breakfast. Gooooo Me!!!
Nova Scotia here. We had a big thunder and
lightening storm here on Friday. Didn't
directly hit us, but it was all around us,
caused flooding and such. Wild weather
these days thats for sure.
My hubby used to work away for up to 14
wks at a time. Thank goodness he was laid
off from that job and he found one that is
in town here, and he is home at nights. We
both always said that when we finally had
a baby, that we didn't want him to be away
working. It worked out well.
I will definitly be going back to bed when
I get home from driving the hubby to work.
I am soooo tired.
Hope you get some sleep too.
Cheers!
