My last Menstrual period began on May22,2007. I pregnancy tested June 22 and both tests said positive. I was spotting this morning and I went to the hospital and they ran HCG levels on me and my HCG was in the 100s saying I was only 1-2 weeks pregnant probably but he said it didnt make sense b/c of my dates. Has anyone else experienced this type of situation? I go back monday for more tests to see if the # is dropping..........

If your last period was on may 22 then you would just now be late. I wouldn't worry because that number sounds fine if you that's when your last period was. Also, it's more important that the number doubles than what the number actually is.

my last pregnancy i had a miscarriage. I started spotting pink and went to the hospital and the doctor just told me to relax the next couple of days. The next day i started bleeding and went to my doctor and he did an ultrasound and it showed that i was only 1 to 2 weeks although i was ten weeks. two days after that i had my miscarriage. I wish i could tell you that you will be fine but i dont really know. I hope the best for you.

Your luteal phase is probably shorter than you thought. So you would only be about 2 weeks. He was probably counting from conception/ovulation and not your last period. And monkeygirl is right, what matters now is that your HcG levels are rising.
