Ok, so I've basically hit a plateau while
trying to lose weight. I was wondering if
anyone here has any tips in overcoming
this if they've hit a plateau as well?
As brief as that sounds I believe a little
background might be helpful. I was at
around 145 lbs more than three months ago
and standing at 4'11'' that is not a
healthy weight. lol. I've been 'dieting'
and exercising for the past three months
and am down to around 128. By dieting I
mean I've been eating pretty well. No fast
foods, no coke. Just grain, dairy, meat,
beans, fruits and veggies with serving
sizes that keep me healthy. This coupled
with doing cardio everyday have gotten me
down to the 128.
But I've been 128 for quite some time now
(about 1.5-2 weeks or so) and would like
to lose more weight. My ideal weight would
be 99 pounds but I think that's a little
ridiculous. LOL. I don't think I could
ever get that tiny. So I'm looking to lose
about 15-20 more pounds so I can at least
have an 'average' BMI and not have to
worry about my doctor telling me I need to
lose weight.
Has anyone tried weight loss pills? Fat
burner pills? Or...should I just go to a
certified dietician and see what s/he
says?? Any advice anyone can offer in
overcoming this plateau would be great!
