Are "pluripotential Stem Cells" Morally Protectabl Posted: 06-25-07 10:21am
Or are they like other tissues in the
body. In other words, does a cell from a
human embryo differ from that of a
developed person?

In what they can do, they are obviously
different. But in their "rights" and
"protectibility" I believe they're just
like the cells on my toenails.

If you give status to embryonic stem cells
then you'd have to do the same for adult
stem cells. How would we work that?
Certain cells in each of our bodies are
morally protected???
