I worked the day before .I had my son. I
wanted to be able to take as much of the
12 weeks .I was entitled to with my son,
not being pregnant and miserable. I saved
my sick, vacation, and floating holiday
for my leave. I even saved 3 days of my
berevement. LOL Mine was paid for the
first 8 weeks, so that was nice.
You would think we would have better
benefits for those of us who work. Not!

Yeah i'm really not sure what i'm going to
do. Where i work we are not offered paid
leave. We don't even have a option to
accumulate (sp?) sick leave. I have been
here for 2 years so i have 2 weeks paid,
and 3 floating holidays i can use. So that
leaves me with either 10 weeks unpaid, and
one income, or i go back to work after 2
weeks. I have yet to figure out what to
do. I have been trying to put money back,
but every time i get money in the savings
something breaks down, or we end up having
to use the money for something. I guess i
will be one of those people that are stuck
working up till my water breaks, and
taking my 4 week old baby to a babysitter
Don't have much
choice.

we in scotland are so so lucky we are
entitled to leave 12 weeks before and have
6months off after the baby
