That nesting instinct kicked in. Honestly,
I will call it a nesting instinct but I
could be going a little organizing crazy
because we just moved into our new house
and I can finally get settled in. I am in
the process of putting all of our clothes
away. Some of the clothes have been in
plastic space bags for at least a year. I
have been doing clothes for the past two
days and I am so tired of folding
clothes!! I finally washed all of the
babies clothes - most of them are from
Nathan being passed down. I have most of
the bags packed in case I go into labor:
nathan's, mine and babies. My husband is
also painting Nathan's room this weekend.
We have promised him for a year now that
when we finally get our own place he can
have a "light blue and light green room
with trains (train border)." The babies
room will have to wait. The baby won't
care as long as he has the essentials.
There is just so much to do and so little
time. We aren't buying a crib until he is
around one or two months because he won't
be needing it. We have a bassinet and a
pack n play with another little bassinet
and changing table.
I have the manual turning of the baby on
Monday and I really want to make sure a
lot of things are done before Monday just
in case I need an emergency C section. The
chances are very low but you never know.
If it doesn't work, then I will have a c
section in two weeks. That means I only
have two not four weeks to get everything
prepared. My goodness!!
Two nights ago, I had heartburn so bad I
almost threw up. I had to sleep sitting
up. I had no choice. I ate so well that
day. I had nothing but bland foods. Last
night I had one charlie horse after
another! They wouldn't stop!!
My new next door neighbor looked at me and
said, "You should go into labor any day
now, huh?" When I told her I have another
month, she looked surprised. Then at a
different time I told someone else when I
was due and she said, "You look so small!"
Bless her heart. I almost hugged her!!
Those are my random things for the day.

hun I am glad the move went well. Now you
sound rushed of your feet!! I cant imagine
how hard it must be, I still have heaps to
do and I havent moved!!! Nathans room
sounds really sweet! Bet he will love it
Atleast with all
things to do the rest of your pregnancy
won't just drag along it will whizz by!!
Good luck for monday, seriously the manual
turning thing really isnt that bad! and as
you said the chances of labour starting
are really slim! Oh and I hear you about
the heartburn!! I used to drink milk to
get rid of it but that doesnt work
anymore, I have started sleeping on my
widgey cushion with 2 other pillows on
top, to say I wake up with a sore neck is
an understatement!!

hey! welcome back. glad you are feeling
better than before. i am up at 4 in the
morning because of heartburn so i hear you
on that one. i used to nap sitting up
but at some point that stopped working. i
had to laugh about the "i still have a
month left". people keep saying that to
me too, that i look like i'm ready to pop
and i tell them, nope, another 4 weeks or
so left and they look kind of surprised.
then i end up feeling all fat and huge.
argh, i hate that. i've been trying to
make myself feel better looking at some of
the skinnier ladies' pics on here and
their enormous bellies so i know that my
belly isn't just big because i'm a fatso,
it's big because there's a baby in
there!!!
i don't know how you can handle all the
hectic stuff going on right before baby
comes. try not to over do it! i guess it
makes the time go faster though, i'm bored
out of my tree most of the time. is
nathan getting excited about the baby? i
really hope the version goes well, i'll be
thinking about you when you go in for
that.
