Sex of My Baby ????
Posted: 06-28-07 09:56am

I recently about two weeks ago had the sex of my baby revealed it a Girl. However the lady who did my ultrasound left me feeling uneasy. She said it was a girl b/c she didn't see any signs of it being a boy. But she didn't get a look at the genitila, b/c she said the baby was moving around too much. But I got sick for 3 weeks at 2 1/2 months and I never got sick again. ALso I am very small and I am 5 1/2 months and the baby is laying very very low can u tell me what you think? I don't want to buy all pink and purple stuff and it's a boy. Please help me ladies......

When they are sure they will say something like, ".I'm not allowed to tell you .I am 100% sure you are having a ___", but they will give you a very high percentage. I would probably stick with neutral colors for now. You can't tell if the baby is a boy or girl according to how they act in there. I think .I recall boys have a faster heartbeat as a general rule, but it's not a definite. If not private parts were seen, there is no way of knowing.

don't take it for definate that you a having a girl. the only reason i knew mine was a girl is cause i had three different scans that told me so.

from what I've heard, the heartbeat for a girl is faster. .oni's was in the 160's...but soon went down to the 140's...so I wouldn't go on that! lol!

Yep. I'm pregnant with a girl and in the very beginning her heartrate was in the 160's. I am now 32 weeks along and her heartrate has been in the 140 range for the past couple of appointments.

I say stick with neutral colors, and try to get another scan if you can.

so if my baby's heartrate has been in the 140's the entire time does that mean it's a boy? Smile Wink

stephen and i have decided to find out the sex of the baby at our next ultrasound.

boy or girl we have decided on neutral colours. If it is a girl there would be no pink involved, hate pink.......pink stinks!!! Laughing

My mum is certain its going to be a girl. I was talking to her the other day and she asked me if my bum was bigger and i told her no.

Apparently when she was pregnant with me and my sister she was all belly but when she had my brother who is the middle child her bum got bigger. i guess we'll just have to wait and see then hey!!
