I am on my placebo pills in my second pack
of loestrin 24. I have only been on this
about 2 montsh. My first pack i had a
period for 7 days, yet there was no
menstral flow. I had only a brown period.
Now i was supposed to start my period
monday, and i have not. I have cramps and
i feel like i do when i am on my period,
but i have no bleeding or spotting. My bf
and I have had sex only a couple times.
But we have used condoms, and he has never
ejaculated in me. I am taken two preg.
tests at home and they have both been
negative. But i still am extremely
worried. Is this normal with loestrin 24,
will my periods ever get regular or will i
nevr have one? Is there a better pill out
there for me that would give me regular
predictable periods? I am just the type of
person that worrys, and this is too
stressfull for me. Any advice or input
would be so greatly appreciated! thank
you!

All brands of hormonal birth control can
lighten and shorten your period. The
period you get in the pills isn't a real
period anyway, it's just withdraw
bleeding. The period you may get this
month may be brown. Also, it is common to
not get a period until day 4 or 5 of the
placebos pills!
