What if anything can be done about soothing the ear ache until you get your child in to see the doctor? Any home remedies until the morning please. I have a five year old who is in sheer pain right now

You can try to heat a little bit of olive oil or veg. Oil on a spoon with a lighter..Make sure it isnt to hot and pour it in the ear and put a piece of cotton in the ear..That should relieve some pain...Or you can go to the drug store and buy drops over the counter...Not sure of the name but just ask..Hope this helps....
