Ok girls...i wanted to know those of you who have had false negatives when you really were pregnant, especially if it took weeks to get a positive! ive taken a bunch of hpts 2 were negative and the more sensitive ones were faint positive, i got about 4 of those. I feel pregnant, like its like an instinct that i am. I went to the doctors today and i wanted to know if the blood test came back positive for you and the hpt's negative or even both negative but still pregnant?! thanks:)

You can not get a false negative blood test. In order for you to be pregnant, you have to produce hcg which is the hormone that sustains a pregnancy. Now not everyone secretes hcg in their urine but this is very rare. I would wait a week and take another hpt. You may just not have enough of the hormone in your system yet.
