What can cause shoulder pain ? Posted: 06-30-07 08:12am
My son is complaining of pain in his front
& and back shoulder, he is very pale and
sleepy and says it hurts more when he
breaths in, but insists it is not his
asthma, and the pain is not in his chest,
he has no temperature, although his body
feels warm to touch and he feels cold.
Could this be indigestion? Calpol has had
no effect.

Pain in the shoulder can not be due to any
indigestion. Pain in the shoulder could be
due to some disorder of the shoulder joint
or tissues around it (inflammation,
injury) . Should pain can be also due to
neuralgia.
An X-ray image of the affected shoulder
can help reveal the reason for the pain.
You can consult an orthopedist about this
problem for a consultation and to arrange
for the necessary diagnostic tests.
