When to Begin Yasmin -resolved- Posted: 06-30-07 10:22am
I was prescribed Yasmin (my first form of
bc pill) and was told to take it the
Sunday after my period starts. I started
on the 28th of this month (Thursday). Do I
take it tomorrow (Sunday the 1st of July)
or NEXT Sunday (the 7th of July)? I was
not clear on what she meant by "after". I
was too shaken up to ask (after receiving
2 shots during that visit...!) Thank you
for your help!

It'll be this sunday! You'll be protected
seven days later after you start. This is
the only time you have the waiting period;
after that, you'll be protected all the
time (unless you forget pills or
whatever). You will be protected during
the placebo week too.
