Q: Plan B Questions?!

Ok, we had sex very early Friday morning, little after midnight. Condom broke. We didn't know what to do. My girlfriend is on birthcontrol, but she said she missed one day. So Saturday we went and got Plan B. She took the first pill around noon, about 36 hours after sex. An hour before the she took the next one, she said she started bleeding. I know this is a side effect, but what does it mean, is it working?

From other things I've read online, it seems like most girls get this at least a few days after, not within the first 12 hours. One more thing, I guess she hasn't had her period for about 4 months because of her birth control. One of our friends said this is probably a good thing. Should it affect anything?

Thanks in advance for any help. We're both still kinda freakin out.

Plan B
yes I had the same issue I am on birth control but had skipped a few days before having unplanned intercourse. I took plan B less than 24hrs later and am still wondering what the chances are of me being pregnant. Another question is do I continue to take the regular BC as prescribed or wait til I get my next period (the sign im looking for to know im not pregnant)?
