my daughter 17
has a friend that is 16 and is sexually
active.. she came home with a hickey on
her neck and the solution was to take her
phone away and ground her.... She needs to
be on birth control. she is in a
relationship that i don't think will be
going away any time soon.... CAN SHE GET
BIRTH CONTROL IN THE STATE OF GA WITHOUT
HER PARENT KNOWING....? i don't want to
get involved in this but i don't want her
having a baby her senior year of high
school either////

I completely agree with you. Punishing
her is not going to solve the problem, and
he parents really should address it rather
than ignore or punish it.
Teens can get birth control at Family
Planning or Planned Parenthood without the
parents being involved or finding out. I
believe that applies to all states, but
you could call or email a clinic near you
for more information, or give her or your
daughter the information so that they can
call.

No parents consent is needed.
Planned parenthood tends to offer free and
extra low cost services for teens, sot hat
is a good idea =)
