So this is quite awkward but ever since I
can remember I've had bumps on the inside
of my labia. They're not painful, they
just look like whiteheads but they never
go away. They'll produce just like any
whitehead but they don't go away. I am not
sexually active so I don't know the
possibilities of it being an STD. I
haven't had any oral sex either. I'm
trying to track down if it's something
normal or if I should be worried. I've
never been to a gyno either and would like
to avoid that possibility.
If any one could help me with this sitch
or explain some possibilities, I'd
appreciate it. I've been avoiding it for
way too long.

It's normal for there to be some bumps on
the labia, almost like goosebumps. I
have them too. So they're usually nothing
to worry about.
However, going to the ob-gyn wouldn't hurt
just to make sure since we can't really
diagnose anyone over the internet. You're
going have to go sooner or later anyway!

it couldnt be herpes because youd usually
have an outbreak...
just dont stress about it and if it gets
worse see a doctor

It really couldn't be herpes because she's
never had sex before.
I have small bumps down there too,
sometimes larger ones, bumps come and go!

Absolutely not from toilets. Honestly, you
hang you vulva over the open part of the
seat, you don't place your vulva down on
the sides of the toilet, so first of all,
how did herpes get on the seat? And why
are you putting your butt down there? No
one does that!
Secondly, again, as the poster said, she
has no sexual experience, and unless one
partner touched his/her own infected pubic
area and then touched this poster's pubic
area, then there's no way she'd get herpes
from that, either.
Don't post myths about std transmission,
please for the love of god. There are
already enough lies out there already.
This forum is meant as a place to
eliminate those myths.

thank you for all your help, just as a
side note to all of this, I've seriously
think I've had it since I was born and it
hasn't gotten worse and I don't think it
will, it's almost like acne that never
heals or goes away....
I feel a lot better already. I was mostly
worried about it being an STD. As a
curiosity question with herpes...with that
outbreak, isn't it more of an infecton
sort of deal? Like itching, burning and
all that? Or does that not happen to
everyone?
