My son's girlfriend has taken a variety of pregnancy tests in the last week. Last Thursday, a brand I ordered off line showed 2 negative results, and 1 with faint positive, thought maybe they weren't reading correctly, or she was reading them incorrectly . So she then took two EPT certainty (actually says PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT). Both clearly said PREGNANT. She repeated, a 3rd test, the next morning, again......it clearly said PREGNANT! She promptly made an appointment at the WIC office, but the test they performed showed negative?? Again, she went an bought another EPT Certainty test, 4th time now!!..........which again says PREGNANT?? Could it just be too early for some tests?? Her last period (~memorial day) was only light spotting for a day & a half. I recommended she have a blood test.......but not sure "how much" pregnant you need to be (haha) before a blood test would show positive. Rolling Eyes

Wow...sounds weird.

I would definitely say she's pregnant...the digital one is very accurate. She should get a blood test done....I don't it's too early.

I hope she gets the outcome she wants!

Good luck, keep us posted!

If I remember correctly, a blood test would pick up a pregancy sooner than an HPT would. And the digital tests are fairly accurate. It's more likely that the wic and internet hpt's were less sensitive (and some may even have been duds).

I would say shes pregnant! She can have a blood test now nd that will give her a definite result! It is very rare to get false positive esp 4!! but false negatives can happen as it could be too early for some hpts.

I would either get a blood test done or wait a week and test again with a normal hpt and she should see a positive result! Smile
