Hi, I'm an 18 year old female, and I've
been having sex since I was about 16...
whenever I have had sex it was always with
a condom and with someone whom I was
either dating or positive that they had
nothing funky going on down there...
anyway... back in the end of February I
hooked up with a guy and we ended up
having unprotected sex... and yeah...
thats the background... now for my
problem...
I have a really strong sex drive, but
never really pursue it so I end up
masturbating rather frequently (2-3 times
a day sometimes) and I'm getting a bump
right before where the skin starts to arch
towards the clitoris... it seems like its
a pimple or something (you cant see it,
you can just feel it.. theres no vagina
head on it or anything) and I've tried
squeezing it a couple of times but nothing
happens, it just gets inflamed like any
other part of the body would if you
squeezed it, but it doesn't grow or
anything... it just kind of appeared there
one day...
This is the second one that I've gotten...
the first one I got was on my labia
majora, it stayed for a while then it went
away... its like they are ingrown hairs
with no hair on the inside of them and you
cant even notice a difference just looking
at it... the one I have right now thats by
my clit hurts too if I put pressure on
it... but I'm almost positive the pain is
from squeezing it.... I dunno... I'm
really scared and even more scared to see
the doctor.... please get back to me
ASAP...

Could just be a pimple, but you'll have to
see the doctor to know for sure. We can't
diagnose you over the internet. If you
are sexually active, you're supposed to be
seeing an ob-gyn anyway. Keep in mind
that if you are ready to have sex, you're
ready to do it in a mature and responsible
way. That means seeing an ob-gyn every
once in a while.
I know it's scary to go sometimes,
especially if you think you might have
something, but knowing and taking care of
the problem is a heck of a lot better than
sitting around, wondering, worrying, and
possibly letting the problem get worse.
