New Treatments For Cfs / fms
Posted: 07-03-07 07:27am

Good Morning all,

I have been diagnosed with FMS/Lupus/IBS, and my aunt has MS, needless to say we have been doing a lot of research. My recent bout has left me unable to work since December, and as of yesterday my insomnia and pain had kept me up for 5 days.

I have read a lot of success with some newer treatments, one of which includes treating hypothyroid in CFS and FMS (Fibrothyroid) patients.

"The studies below demonstrate that thyroid resistance is a significant problem in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. Many doctors don't believe it is a true dysfunction even though it is becoming well documented." (I have included the link to this site, and it discusses other treatment options)

I will be seeing a new doctor this coming Thursday, one that actively uses new treatment options, and I am so anxious to get started! I will keep you posted. Please look into these new treatments, (These are not herbal or holistic therapies) they have already been in use in Europe and show wonderful success. I for one will be thrilled to stay away from pain meds, steriods, sleeping pills, ect...

Please feel free to ask questions, I will help in any way I can. Hugs to you all!!

PS: it appears there is a little technical problem when posting here, it is uncapitalizing random letters, lol, just didn't want you to think I was uneducated.
