Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let you know my pregnancy is probably not going to progress any further. I had a second beta done yesterday and the number didnt change at all after 4 days. The nurse said she had never seen it not change at all before. It didnt go up or down. Sad I'll go back on thursday, but they suspect I will start af before then. I am so sad. I told close family and friends because I couldnt wait and was so excited, now I have to go to the 4th of July parties and either not say a word or be a big party pooper and tell everyone. It sucks. I guess we will see. DH is still optimistic, but I have read enough to know its not going to stick. Well, enough of my sob story. So, as soon as af comes its on to cycle #2 of clomid. Now I know not to tell anyone except dh and you ladies the next time, until I am in the clear.

Thanks for listening

Rebecca,

I am sorry that you got such bad news at the doctor today. Hopefully there is still a chance that you still are pregnant. If I were you, I wouldn't say anything tomorrow at your 4th of July party. I would wait until your appointment Thursday until you know for sure that you are not pregnant. That is just me though. I wouldn't want everyone dwelling over me when it is supposed to be a party... I don't like to be the center of attention!

Hope you get good news on Thursday. Let us know. And remember, we are always here

Thanks so much ladies,

It makes me feel so much better having you girls to talk to.

I probably won't say anything tomorrow, I dont like to be the center of attention either, and when I feel bad, I tend to push people away. It is just going to suck trying to act all excited about the pg, but at least I will be with the people I love the most.

I'll let you know how thursday goes. You all are the best, Everyone have a wonderful 4th!

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone had a great 4th.

This morning af came on with avengence. I have never had such awful cramps before. I talked to the nurse this morning and she said it was good that I am bleeding on my own and it should pass quickly. I still need to go in for more bloodwork today. I should have gone yesterday, but I woke up on Wednesday with absolutely no symptoms at all and inside I knew it was over.

We are doing ok though. DH is the best and somehow keeps me amused. I am just thankful that this didn't happen later in the pg, it really wasn't much longer than a normal cycle.

Thanks everyone for all your concern. I am waiting for the dr to call and tell me if I need to wait a cycle or continue clomid this month.

I'm sorry. Sad

You really seem to be handling everything very well. (even though you know you don't have to be strong here.) I'm glad your dh is being supportive. Hopefully, this month will be it for you. Everyone says you're super fertile after a chemical pregnancy. So here's some ~sticky baby dust~ to you!!

I'm here if you need a shoulder. Pm me anytime. I will be at work in front of this god forsaken computer for the next 7 hours straight and I'll be on later tonight as well.

I am sorry you had to go through this. I had a chemical (early miscarriage) back in march and now I am almost 9 weeks along. It's very disheartening but it gets easier with time. If you need to talk feel free to pm me.

Thanks so much mg,

Did your cycle return to normal right afterwards? I am having the mother of all afs right that started with no warning today. I am hoping my cycle returns to normal so we can start trying again. I haven't heard form the dr yet, but I don't know how comfortable I feel about taking clomid while all of this is happening (notice how I avoid saying the "m" word).

One thing, I have decided to never test again until af is late! This has been the most stress filled cycle ever, partly because I obsess about those hpts.

Just talked to Dr. and she said I could start clomid sunday. I feel weird about it, like I am not giving myself a proper amount of grieving time. What do you all think?

Well, my cycles went back to my normal (which is not normal at all since I have pcos). Chemical pregnancies are usually easy fertility wise to bounce back from. Mine was back in march and I got pregnant again in June if that helps any. This pregnancy has been like night and day though. I've had no spotting and everything so far has been perfect. We started ttc right away again as did my mom when she had her miscarriage. She said getting pregnant again was all that snapped her out of her depression (she was farther along though). It just really depends on what you want. I would probably go for it and hope for the nice fertility boost this normally gives.
