I'm new to Yasmin. I was wondering if
anyone of you had your withdrawal bleeding
after the 3rd day of the reminder/placebo
pill? It's my first time using Yasmin,
tomorrow morning is my 4th reminder pill,
and I don't have my fake period yet.
According to the product information, it
usually happens within the 3 days of
placebo, but since women are different,
maybe some of you had theirs after the 3rd
day. Btw, I don't usually take my reminder
pill, since they are just placebo.
I used to take Alesse for a few months,
and I usually have my fake period on the
3rd day of placebo.
Need help! Thank you.

I'm not on yasmin, I'm on othro lo, but I
don't get my period until day 3 or 4
sometimes, so I wouldn't stress . Especially if it's
the first month, your body is still
adjusting.

My daughter started yaz over 2 weeks ago
and is still flowing. I was wondering if
it's because it's her 1st. month on the
pill or should I call her Dr. and have her
put on a different pill? Has anybody had
this on the first month?

Yes. Bleeding like that is common in the
first 3 months. If it is excessive, you
could call the ob-gyn, but breakthroughs
and constant bleeding are common.

Please don't type in all caps; it makes it
harder to read.
If you are on active pills, then yes. Any
brown, red or pink discharge you get when
on active pills is called breakthrough
bleeding.
