Are there any others in here that does
weight watchers? I do and I was thinking
about trying the new Alli product. Just
because it claims if you lose 10 pounds
you will lose 15 when using Alli along
with your current weight loss program. On
weight watchers the Alli progam wouldn't
be very hard to sick to.. You can't take
in more then 15 g of fat per meal. If you
do the side effects of Alli are not very
pleasant.. Any comments?

Hi! I did Weight Watchers last year and
lost about 20 pounds. But, I mistakenly
thought that I didn't need the program
anymore and went back to my old ways and
gained the weight back.
I am planning on restarting Weight
Watchers on August 1.
I am going on a girls vacation with my mom
and aunt to Las Vegas in November and I
want to be a slimmer by then.
Have you tried Alli yet? I was thinking
about that as well...

I would mention the Alli product at Weight
Watchers and see what they think of it.
I have a feeling it works something like a
laxative. If you consume too much fat you
will be spending a lot of time in the
bathroom. Not a sensible way to lose
weight, that's for sure. And it can be
easily gained back if this is the method
in which it's taken off. People that have
used these methods say they need to change
underwear occasionally due to leakage when
eating too much fat. Not a fun way to
lose weight.
The best way to lose weight is by diet and
exercise. No pills or powders are safe.
Diet and exercise take longer but they are
the safest and keep the weight off.
Weight Watchers alone is a good, sensible
way to lose weight because it uses food
(not pills or powders) and exercise. It
is an excellent program.

Hi I agree with the weight watcher being a
safe way to lose weight. I have Lupus and
Hughes Syndrome so had to have the WW diet
OK'd by my rheumatologist and she sent me
to see the dietitian.
I had gained so much weight due to
illness, being stuck in a wheelchair for
two years, high doses of steroid together
with a lot of other weight gaining
medications and to top it all I couldn't
do any real exercise. The physio did try
to help but because of the extremely bad
fatigue I had at the time it was hard to
even lift a foot up.
Once I was back on my feet, although I did
have to use two walking stick, I saw a
photo of myself.....yuk......I hated the
way my body had grown.
I was having to wear UK size 24 clothes
and weighed 15stone 11pounds.
I started WW in March 2004 and by December
2005 I achieved my loss and got to the
GOLD weight of 11stone 1pound a 65lb
loss.
Since then my health has been up and down
and I've had to increase the amount of
pral steroids I take which meant that more
weight would pile on....I tried to keep to
my WW diet but still put some weight back
on and went up to 12stone 4lb before I
decided to get my WW cookbooks out again.
I started on the NO COUNT diet and have
been to the gym for 30minutes every other
day.........today I weighed myself and I
have lost 3lb in two weeks.
I hope to keep at it and really wouldn't
recommend any pills, potions especially
the laxative type. Writing in a food diary
what you put into your mouth which means
you can keep control of what you eat and
exercising will do you far more good.
Good luck if you are starting a new WW
diet.

i am on weight watchers and so is my
mother, we are our support i would prolly
have quit ww if it wasnt for her......we
have been members since april, she lost 36
lbs and i lost 18lbs....both of us have
considered alli, however i figured that as
long as i am still loosing weight on ww
(as well as my mother) why would we go and
spend the money on another weight loss
supplement...ww is great, i love it, my
mom loves it, and hopefully i go tonite
(the meetings 2nite) and loose the one lb
that i needed to loose so i get my 10% key
chain......also if u are on one plan(the
core or the flex) switch it up..thats what
i do it keeps ww interesting and keeps you
excited to be eating healthy.....GOOD
LUCK!!!!
