i need some advice. we are renovating our house, trying to get ready for baby. i still don't have the crib set up because all of this needs to be done and now rich is working 14 hour days so i'm kind of on my own for the time being. his sister came to help me paint yesterday and i felt bad letting her do all of the work so i was helping, climbing up and down a ladder and stuff to paint. then today when i got up i had a big glob of stuff on my undies (sorry kinda tmi - it was gross i almost got sick). so i'm losing my mucous plug for real now. i'm just wondering if it's a bad idea to keep working today. i'm worried about my water breaking. if i went into labour that would be one thing, but if my water broke they would make sure i had this baby within 24 hours or something. i guess i'm just worried about it because i have nowhere to bring my baby yet, the house is still a mess from the reno. is it bad to keep working and being active after losing your plug?

I wouldn't worry too much. Although if I were you I'd probably take it easy, just be the organiser. Let your hubby, and whoever is helping out know what needs to be done and explain its getting too hard for you to do it all but that you appreciate them helping. They'll understand when a baby is involved. I guess you need to do whats feels right for you, when you feel like you're pushing yourself too much just take a seat and relax for half an hour. Thats what I do, I moved my room around the other day to make room for Paige's things and when I felt like jelly I just led down for a while and had a light snack. Laughing

Like she said. I would take it easy. I wouldn't be climbing up and down on ladders and stuff. But something like putting the crib together couldn't hurt. Though just a fair worning I put the crib together by myself and it's so hard...it's really a more then one person job. I hope you get the room ready before the little one arrives!!
