My Dad was diagnosed as having latent TB
and was given the necessary medication.
During a normal followup, we discovered
elevated GGT, ALT and AST levels. He
immediately stopped the medication. Now, a
year later, the ALT and AST levels are
normal, but the GGT levels keep swinging
between 89 and 102. Is this a sign of
irreversible liver damage? And if so, what
are the chances that it will progress.
