I've never been pregnant and I've never
really been late. My period is very
predictable, about 4 days before I start
getting cramps/pains and always can feel
when I will start, I rarely keep good
track because it's always on time.... This
month I had unprotected sex around
ovulation time and had one day of cramps
around expected, but only one day, no more
cramps, and no period. That was about
10-11 days ago. About 5 days ago, I had
some breast soreness, and then I started
to get really fatigued. Everyday since I
have been really nauseous and had
headaches, which I was not experiencing
before and is not a normal part of my
period. This evening I started bleeding in
what I believed to be my period and am now
suffering cramps unlike normal. They are
in the front almost completely and
normally it is split between that and my
lower back, they also do not feel like
normal cramps. I am unsure of what to
think because my period is so predictable
and so is the "feelings" that go along
with it, and none of it feels right....
any insight??!
timeline:
june 17th - unprotected sex
june 27th - only day of normal pre-period
symptoms
june 30th - july 1st expected start
july 2nd-5th - extreme fatigue &
nausea, migraines/headaches
july 6th - began bleeding with odd sort of
cramping

It could be just that your period is late
and because of that your sypmtoms are
different. My periods are also very
predictable . Maybe only one will be late
in about a 18 months but when something
does happen to make it late I normally get
different premenstral syptoms to normal.
However if you began feeling pregnancy
syptoms it's possible it's also a very
early miscarriage, which I've also had
before. It sounds like it might be from
what you were describing. If thats the
case then try not to let it get to you too
much. I know it's easier said than done
but it's just natures way and it clearly
wasn't meant to be. The only way I knew I
had been pregnant is because I'd done a
test but I started blleding only 2 days
later.
I'd go to the doctors just to make sure.
Sometimes you can be pregnant and still
bleed.
Good luck. xx

From what another user posted in another
discussion, if it was an early miscarriage
you would still test positive on a home
pregnancy test. You can take a test to
put your mind at ease. Anything else is
just speculation.
