I can no longer walk without having pain. My legs are very far apart when I walk due to the pain and because the baby has dropped more. That must be a very uncomfortable position for him with his butt stuck in my pelvic cavity. My mom thinks I am going into labor at any minute or I am in the beginning stages of labor. I do have many braxton hicks contractions but nothing measurable yet. I had a few last night that I thought were real so I got dressed and laid on the couch to tried to time them. They went away. I used to have a lot of mucous but I have hardly anything anymore. I never had a "bloody show." Two weeks ago I was dilated at 1 cm and I am certain I am dilated more now. My doctor's office won't just let me come in to see them. They would make me go to labor and delivery and that would be fruitless because I am not in active labor (that I know of) yet. I do feel it will happen anytime. My back is continuously sore!! Oh, the joys of the last days of pregnancy. I truly hope that I just start having contractions without my water breaking due to the chance of prolapsed cord with breech babies. I hope that I am able to tell what a contraction actually is! When I was induced with Nathan, I couldn't tell when I had a contraction as I always felt in pain. Even before pain medication, they would tell me when I was contracting and I couldn't tell. That is another reason why I am a bit worried.

If it gets a little worse today, I will go in just for a check.

The house is still a pit because of the move but I have officially given up. I literally can't do anything anymore. I feel so guilty that I can't play with my son right now but I can barely get water....maybe I should just call my doctor's office.

i hear you loud and clear! i'm full of aches and pains right now. it's probably giving me wrinkles cuz i'm always grimacing from the pain when i move around. i'm trying to stay positive though. even turning over in bed takes a few minutes and some deep breathing exercises to complete lol. i've stopped it with the whole ladder thing, my sil did almost all of the painting yesterday and i just sat there and kept her company. my back and groin and hips and feet and hands and belly are all sore all the time!!
i took a walk to the little store on the corner yesterday and all i could think of was "what if my water broke right now?!". it feels like that all the time there is so much pressure down there. it's kind of scary lol.

the problem is i'm not even ready for baby yet!! you sound like you were ready 2 weeks ago! i hope you go into labour soon and that it goes well for you. i'm sure they will take good care of you and you'll be holding your little boy in no time.

meanwhile i'm crossing my legs until this house is done!

Good...I am not alone. The pressure is just horrible. It is a good sign, though, in that the labor should be easier for you. I had no pressure with Nathan; no pains. The labor was horrible because I was induced and wasn't even dilated. I guess this is what it really feels like. What joy.

I am not even close to being ready!! My mom is staying with us and has all of her stuff everywhere in the babies room. I can't get around to the dresser/changing table because the blow up mattress is in the way. It is a little annoying but I am glad she is here so I will take the inconvenience. I won't have the babies room done, even a little, when he arrives. I figure, he really won't care. I washed his clothes, sheets and other items so I am ready in that respect.

My mom is nesting Laughing She wants me to get everything completely packed today and put the babies stuff within easy reach. She has been grocery shopping like crazy.

Good luck to you. I can't believe you actually took a walk to the corner store...brave woman!

I have come to the conlusion that .Chandler is going to stay in there forever. He seems way too comfortable to be moving out. My legs feel like jello most of the time so I just sit on my big fat butt and do nothing. Ok, so thats a lie.. I do keep going, but it doesn't seem to matter. My back has been killing me now for 2 days. No contractions or anything yet, but the back ache is there. Poor hubby, I had to get him up in the middle of the night last night to rub my back as I couldn't sleep from the pain. He will be glad when our little man is here too.

Good luck girls and labor dust to the ones who need it!

Mary
