Too Many Symptoms. What's Wrong With Me? Posted: 07-06-07 12:32pm
Hi! I'm a 46 year old female. You could
say I'm a pretty big health fanatic. I've
always been interested in health and
fitness, nutrition and exercise. I have
stepped up my nutrition a notch, but I
have slowed down some on the exercising,
although I get alot of walking in, at my
job. I was diagnosed with a mitral valve
prolapse back in 1990 and I also had
anxiety problems which produced heart
palpitations among other symptoms. My
doctor prescribed atenolol, (a beta
blocker and high blood pressure pill) for
me. I've been on this ever since.I also
have hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) ,
which I keep in check with proper
nutrition. About 2 months ago I was at
work and my ears started feeling like they
were getting clogged I seen black dots in
front of me and felt like I was going to
pass out. I sat down quickly and it slowly
passed. Ever since that time I've had
repeated episodes along with feeling off
balance, alot of the time and nauseated.
Sometimes my eyesight gets blurry. I've
been in the hospital emergency room twice
now in the past three weeks. I've had
blood work done, an EKG, urine test.
Everything seemed to check out ok, but my
blood pressure was high. I've been
skimming over the internet in search of
something..... and all I come up with is
confusion. I stumbled over this forum by
accident and thought I'd give it a try and
see if there is someone out there who
might be able to help me. I'd like to hear
from anyone who might have the same
problem or anyone who might be able to
give me some input or advice. Thank you!

Hi Jules
My apologies in not replying sooner to
your queries ...
I can see the confusion, as you seem to be
on one tablet to lower your blood
pressure, and another to raise your blood
sugar, you seem to be on so many different
tablets, no wonder you are confused, and
you're probably stressing and anxious over
it too ...
I'm going to re-post your problem in the
Blood Disorder section .. and hopefully
you'll get the advise you need ... we are
here to help, even if it's with the
support you require.
Good luck - and I hope you feel better
soon
