How many of us take as good care of our
teeth as we should even with jaw pain. I
know that personally I have a hard time
with some dental things so I cheat till i
find a good way to do it.
feel free to post tips to help maintain
dental health. Im sure we could all use
them. I know I sure could use some:) We
only get one set of teeth. dentle hygiene
in tmj patients is reduces due to pain and
limited openings (and other things) so
lets put our heads together and see if we
can come up with something
I personally went and bought a waterpick
so I could "floss" with limited opening.

Know exactly what you mean. I am
constantly burshing my teeth which can
take a while if jaw really sore.
Constantly use mouth wash to assist with
areas I cant reach. When my jaw is really
sore and I cant get my tooth brush head in
the back of my mouth I quite often will
use a cotton bud with toothpaste to try
and clean my back teeth
Not a good look. Oh well at least I'm
trying

Dyan, I don't have problems with flossing
so I didn't know how to vote. I can only
open my mouth 24 mm, but flossing has
never been a problem. I do have to use a
very long piece of floss and the waxed
tape works better for me. I don't know if
it's my technique or what. We have to do
it; tho, not every day.
