Do I Really Have to Wear This Thing At All Times? Posted: 07-07-07 09:14am
Hello new here,
Was just looking for a second opinion on
my ankle, after injuring after a bike
crash last week an Xray at the local ER
reveled nothing, but the doctor put me in
a semi cast because I showed tenderness at
a growth plate. Today I went in to have
the cast removed but recieved a special
boot instead. I was told to wear it only
while walking, when I asked what it was
for they said so you dont injur your ankle
even more. I agreed without putting much
though into it. But now at home I am
begging to wonder if this boot is only if
I trip(or otherwise fall to injur it even
more) or is it supposed to control the way
my ankle moves?
