This is what happens when you FIRST attempt to skip a period, which is why for many women it takes 2-3 months to fully be able to do it.

Basically, you just need to keep taking your pill, the bleeding could last for a few weeks, but it is normal.

A few weeks?! Is there any way to stop the bleeding? Like starting a new pack or something? I can't be bleeding for a few weeks, my vacation is in less than 10 days!

Unfortunately, no, there is no way to stop the bleeding. Your body's going to do whatever it wants, there's not much you can do about it. Starting a new pack wouldn't do anything.

Starting a new pack will not do anything..

YOU COULD go ahead and stop taking pills now, and let it bleed out for 7 days, then start a new pack.

That *can* work, but no guarantees.

This is why women are told to start 'skipping' 2-3 months before an event.
