i took a day off today. not from being pregnant lol. but i seriously just laid in bed all day doing nothing. i was starting to feel really frustrated with all my aches and pains too. i'm trying to keep my feet up because they've been so swollen from the heat that they are stinging. a couple of times people actually rang the doorbell and i didn't answer it!! and i turned the phone off and just took the day off to rest and relax. i watched the live earth concert all day and i just feel so refreshed. now i'm ordering pizza for dinner. i just took a day off and it's amazing how much better i feel!! can you just take a day off and give yourself some tlc? i hope you feel better soon.

yeah i'm feeling good today. nah they never check anything like that when i go for my appointments. it's always just blood pressure, measure my stomach, baby's heartbeat and a quick squeeze on the ankle and i'm outta there. i barely have time to ask a question. my next appointment is on tuesday with some doctor i've never met called al zarhani or something. rich was like, who? al zarqawi?? lol. anyway. labour dust your way. lots of it!! i'm gonna go eat pizza now so i can get hearburn all night lol.

* oh yeah. i don't know any other ways to induce labour other than the ones you mentioned but don't try all of them at once, you might hurt yourself. Laughing Laughing

I gave birth in .August. Being heavily pregnant in the .Louisiana heat was unbearable. So I definitely sympathize!

Try not to wear yourself out with all this walking, sweetie. You need to keep your strength up for the labor! Wink

I can feel for you. I just moved last week and it was not fun. I was having contractions all day and I felt like I was going to go insane. I had food poisoning the night before so I had been up for several hours just sitting on the toilet (sorry if tmi). Anyways, I know that it is not fun and I am sending lots of labor dust your way!

So your still hanging on. Lordy girl.. I figured you were going to beat me to the punch. Tho you are at least having more stuff going on than I have. I haven't lost any of my mucus plug, however some women don't right until labor. So who knows. I am having heavier discharge. As for contrations.. nada.. only the odd braxton hicks, and even there isn't alot of those. My back has been killing me now for about 3 days.. maybe even more, but I have lost track. I am waiting for my poor leg to fall off from the pain I am getting from my sciatic nerve. Its brutal. Anyways, here's hoping Brianna makes an appearance for you soon!!!! Cheers!!

No .Vanessa, my .Brianna wasn't that difficult, I had her early, at 28 weeks. She was due in .August, .I had her in .May.

She was a difficult teenager though

Vanessa, my mom is here visiting/helping and I told her about your situation. She is astonished that they won't induce you sooner considering how big you were and your baby is measuring. She loved your pictures.

I honestly feel you will go into labor soon or perhaps I am "wishful thinking" for you (and me:)). Moving on Tuesday?? I still can't believe it. Isn't your husband off somewhere and not coming back until a day before you are due? I am just curious what would happen if you do go into labor, have your baby but have to move? Can you put the move off if that happens? Just curious.

I haven't had any pain or contractions for at least a day. I feel like everything is now at a standstill for now. I have my next appt on Monday. I know my c section will be scheduled at that time.

Why do you have to go to the DMV?? I have to go to take a test. Idaho requires out-of-staters to take a written test before they get their Idaho license. Grr...I probably won't even go to the DMV until a few months after the baby comes.

Whenever I come on here, I am expecting to hear that you are going to the hospital. I truly believe I will read that soon or I won't hear from you for a few days and then we will all see pictures!!

Take care!!

I have to go to the dmv to get a new license because when i moved to Oklahoma in august i surrendered my california one and havent changed my last name on it yet. I have an appointment so i figured id give it a shot it getting it done before she gets here. im not really sure, but i think im going to have to take another written test as well (which lord help me i pass, its been forever since drivers ed and with my pregnancy mind.. im actually a bit worried..im such a flake right now)
they actually moved the dates for brians field exercise up a week (they send him out into the wilderness on base to practice fun war stuff.. he still has his cell phone and im still able to get a hold of him, but it just makes it rough because he has to work a lot, and is stressed out because he is responsible for if things go wrong)
thank .god they pushed it back! Now maybe he can get the day off work on .tuesday and we can get our move finished in a day. we don't have to do it on .tuesday, but right now we are staying with my parents and pretty anxious to get our own place again. its a big deal to him to be able to bring the baby home to our own home (men and their pride)
plus, this way his drive home is about 3 minutes rather then the 60 minute plus one he does everyday right now.
I feel you on the standstill. I feel thats what is happening to me too. I will get these awful contractions and then i will fall asleep and wake up and there isnt anything. Its just frustrating. im trying so hard to be patient and tell myself its for the best for her to come late so we can get all our errands done, but you all know how it is.
especially seeing all these beautiful baby girls on here! i want to see my daughter!!
mary- chandler will be here before you know it! haha watch youll have nothing and then all of a sudden he is just going to be in a big hurry to make his arrival. it would be kind of cool for him and bree to have the same birthday!
I think if i can just make through today i will be alright. i really am going to be so busy this week, hopefully the move/not thinking about her as much will push me into labor.
hopefully..

Vanessa:

I agree! He has been a pretty quiet baby today so hopefully that means he is thinking about coming out to see us soon!!!! He is moving around in there, but definitely no where near what he was. And my bowels have been wild things today lol I am very tired out and just been vegging on my sofa for the most part. Gotta love being on doctors orders to relax and take it easy. I am even too tired to cook tonight so I think tonight is a good night for ordering out! Poor hubby is working again today. He seems to work all the time now. He is looking forward to just being off a few days when the baby comes and then he is taking some time off in August so we can go see his family in Newfoundland. His parents are well into their 80's and we definitely need to get over there before something happens to them as they are not well. Tho for their ages, they are doing pretty darn good! My mom will be coming down for a day or so when Chandler arrives to stay with me, if nothing else so I can catch up on a few hours of sleep! If everything goes well they send you home the next day after you have your baby here. In and out I tell ya. I hope that things either hurry up or settle down for you Vanessa so that you can get through your busy week!! I have been getting the urge to house clean so, I am thinking that things are not too far off for me.. Tho, not that I have actually been doing any house cleaning lol. Take care and keep in touch! Cheers!!
