I had 3 early U/S done. the first one
empty uterus on Dec 25th, second one Jan
7th showing 6 weeks and 1 day( due date
sept 1st ) and third Jan 12th showing
6weeks and 3 days ( due date sept 4th ) I
know early u/s are the most accurate in
determining your due date . my doctor
wants to go with Sept 1st but when you
minus 2 weeks from the u/s it shows a
conception date of the 9th of Dec, and i
had sex the 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 of Dec.
should i tell my doctor the thrid u/s is
the most accurate because i know when i
had sex, i mean before the 9th of Dec i
had sex on the 29th of Nov.... and i doubt
sperm could stay in my system that long-
plus we never finished.

The u/s is more accurate than the date of
your last period.
this is because you do not know exactly
when in your cycle you ovulate, you could
be an early or late ovulator.
Also you could have implanted early.
The u/s shows the gestational size of the
baby. This is based on how long it has
been developing.
Most women implant around 10 days after
conception. This can occur as early as 6
days after conception, so if you implanted
early this could affect the gestational
age of the baby and there by based on the
"averages" appear as though your
conception date was the 9th.
