if your boyfriend is going in the marines, his insurance will cover the baby. even if he were to be in boot camp, they really go out of there way to help him out with the baby... that is if your going to keep it.
you just really need to explore your options and make an educated decision. have him talk to his recruiter about it. is he willing to take care of his responsibilities?

I agree with what everyone is saying. I had an aunt that hid her pregnancy for along time and didn't get prenatal care. Well, she had preterm labor and the doctor said that it could've been prevented had she had previous care because the dr's would've been able to predict it. I am not trying to scare you Smile In fact, I didn't even have my first appointment until I was around 12-13 weeks because I had to get my public aid all worked out.

Good luck on telling your grandmother. I will be thinking of you!

Hey, i noticed you are in Oklahoma. (?) maybe this info will help. it looks like you can find a place here where they will give you prenatal care that is confidential. i think it would be a good idea to call them and maybe talk out some of your options as well. they could be a good resource for you right now. i hope this can help. good luck and congratulations. i really hope things turn out okay for you and your family.

Good luck, I hope everything goes well telling your Grandmother. I think peoples reactions can always be unexpected when it comes to pregnancy, sometimes time people are delighted when you think they won't be. (thats just my experience)

I'm currently 7 weeks 4 days pregnant and nervous about starting to show, its a scary though my body changing like that..

Did you tell your grandmother? What did she say?
