Genital Warts And Living Life Posted: 07-08-07 22:03pm
I'm 25 and I have the ugliest sounding
STD, Genital Warts. It is obviously not
the best topic to share with family and
friends. The internet is full of scary
stuff on the topic, and GW are made to
sound as if they as contagious as Ebola.
But on the other hand, my doctor freezing
them off every 3 weeks says to just wear a
condom. I was a bit shocked at his lack
of caring for spreading the warts to other
woman. But it also made me wonder if
spreading them was not that common or
really no big deal. Obviously I do not
want to intentionally spread the warts to
other woman, but on the other hand I do
still want to have sex like a normal man
in his 20's. Since there is no cure for
this friggen virus, it appears we are
stuck with it for life--wonderful.
So my question to the forum here is, when
(or do you even) tell a woman that you
have genital warts? Mine are flesh
colored and she wouldn't visibly see them
anyways. It obviously is a hard statement
to tell a woman who is now naked and
prepared for entry, "oh by the way I have
genital warts."
I'm curious to see if you men tell your
partners you have GW prior to having sex.

I think it would be immoral to hide such a
thing from a partner. I would tell
potential partners very early on, before
they even got naked. That way, everyone
is still thinking clearly and can make
rational decisions. It might be difficult
and embarrassing, but I think it is worth
it.
