Finding treatment is hard enough, clonazipan works to some degree but dopes me out next day aswell. I am mr sleepwalker, and possibly have rbd (rem behavior disorder) have episodes most nites of the week when stressed. What sort of syptoms do you have?

I havn't been diagnosed with anything. I think I talk in my sleep every night and sleep walk at least once a week. Do you know if I need to be diagnosed?

If its starting to affect you in the daytime with excessive tiredness or sleep walking injuries speak to your local doc, and ask him to refer you to a sleep specialist normal gps dont have the experience to deal with it.

Then i'd advise perhaps try a course of clonasipan see if that helps in the short term as these things can come and go, how long have you been doing it?. Stess is a major trigger for me so finding indirect ways to de-stress will help reduce the walking \ talking. Try to wind down a good time before bed, dont drink caffinee several hours before or have too much tv or computer stimulation late at nite and of course regular exercise (not to late in evening) and generaly health eating all promote good sleep.

Or perhaps if something is worring you then try speaking to someone impartial or have a plan of action to solve it. It seems that many people sleep talk and walk so its not to much of a problem unless its affects you in the day. If I find any more information then i'll let you know.

Regards
