Ick ick ick! I don't check on this conversation for a day and look where it ended up! Lol.

I think that it has been considered wrong for close relatives to marry for so many centuries, in many religions and cultures that it's ingrained. Plus it's icky.

It's illegal in Ontario. When I applied for our marriage license I had to raise my right hand and solemly swear that my fiance and I were not closely related (and also swear that the information on our application was truthful).

But why is it icky!?

what i find icky is homosexuals having sex..and I respect them and I'm cool being around them

Okay... I hope this isn't just me.

Everyone remember the commercial:
"There's no wrong way to eat a Reeses?"

Well, this topic name... made my brain think:
"There's no right way to eat a fetus!"

They even rhyme XD

"You are exactly right. You see; it used to be that Gods word was our authority and moral backbone. Through the years and the complete secularization of societys and a take God outta everything in society and "im my own God" attitude; there is no moral authority.
Who is to say anything is wrong. No God.......No-thing is wrong.
Abortion becomes okay. Homosexuallity becomes okay. A have sex with whomever and whenever you want attitude is okay. What next??
The lack of morality and God's ultimate authority in this world is disgusting but also predicted in his word."

Your certainly on the right track there!

and are people happier and more nice than before?

you should take time to read humanae vitae a encyclical written before we had abortion, euthinasia and infantacide it ties in well with what you are saying about moral decay and is focused on "life issues" and is very prophetic.... considering this encyclical at the time was mocked riddiculed and dismissed as nonsense by catholics and non catholics alike however it has come to prove itself prophetic and true over the years.

No matter how you look at it; it is unnatural, abnormal.
Its funny; at one point homosexuality was considered to be wrong and a sickness, as it should. But many years ago, a gay movement was under way. They coined the term "gay" to refer to themselves. Why? Because homosexual didnt sound good. It sounded like a sickness(which it is).
So they stole the word "gay" which sounds and means "happy", "joyous". And of course thru the years society accepts their ploy and says its okay to be gay! Its okay.
I think it is a sinful lifestyle.
I love them. But hate the sin.

And it's funny but many years ago homosexuality was considered a perfectly normal part of human life. Look at the ancient Greek culture for one.

Long live love, I say!

I can't believe this debate has continued in this way and not been stopped. You are perpetuating hate for 10% of the population (homosexuals), and I do not think this is related to abortion, or in keeping with Ehealth guidelines. I as a bisexual person am personally offended by this disgusting hate speak. Evil or
Very Mad

Ok, my bad. I don't mind a debate going off topic but since it has caused offense I will now lock this thread Wink
