yeah you could obviously be pregnant, you
had unprotected sex.
so like suzy said, take a test.
you're probably feeling all funky though
because of your shot. i don't know though,
i haven't ever taken it, but i've heard
things about it that'd make me think it
could be the shot. you never know though,
so maybe in a week or two test? good luck.
and if you don't want a baby then please
use birth control.
I have had the depo shot and it can give
you signs like you are pregant usually
nausa does not start unil the 7 to 8 th
week for most women. So if it really is
morning sickness you should be able to
test. also if you had unprotected sex a
month ago then you should test as it will
likely show if you are or not. If you are
scared go to a pregancy crisis centre and
they will do a blood test for free. Please
in future do not have unprotected sex not
just to avoid getting pregant but also to
protect you against std's. If the guy
tells you I do not like it tuff for hi,.
Unless this is going to be your partner
for life then ALWAYS use a codom for add
protection. If you are pregant we are here
to help you and support you and we will
not judge you. Just try to give our advice
to you as you ask for it.

I have to reiterate what the others were
saying...the depo can really mess with
you, I was on it for 2 before i got
pregnant and two years after. I had
swollen breasts, neausea, shortness of
breath, cramping...birth control tricks
your body into thinking that you are
pregnant and at times you will feel these
ways from your birth control. Sweetie, I
know you feel comfortable with this person
and you don't want to use condoms but for
one birth control does not protect against
stds and two none of them are 100%
effective. I got pregnant on birth
control, didn't know I was pregnant and
continued birth control for 3 months
before I found out I was pregnant (this
was many years ago) I ended up having a
miscarriage. I have a friend who got
pregnant twice on birth control her first
child was completely fine although not
planned and her second was supposed to be
twins but one of them died in the second
trimester. So I don't think you are
pregnant, but it is definitely possible
but I really do urge you to use some other
method of birth control.

Unlike the birth control pill, which
provides women with a small dose of
hormones on a daily basis, Depo-Provera
gives women a large dose of progestin at
one time. As a result, side effects of
this type of contraceptive tend to be more
pronounced.
One of the most common side effects of
Depo-Provera is the absence of
menstruation during the first year of use,
which affects a quarter to half of all
users. About 30% of users will continue to
have regular periods (which suggests that
ovulation is continuing) while the
remainder of women on Depo-Provera are
likely to experience irregular periods.
Other side effects include:
Change in menstruation (may be lighter or
heavier; shorter or longer)
Increase in spotting and breakthrough
bleeding
Weight gain
Dizziness
Nervousness
Change in libido
Headaches
Rash or skin discoloration
Breast tenderness
Depression
Increase or decrease in facial and body
hair
Hair loss
Unfortunately, little can be done about
these side effects until the hormones from
the shot wear off, which can take up to 14
weeks. It is also interesting to note
that, because Depo-Provera tends to
suppress the production of testosterone in
men, male prisoners used to receive
Depo-Provera shots in order to suppress
their sexual drive and help make them more
docile.
Use of Depo-Provera has also been shown to
cause a decrease in bone mass. This is
most noticeable during the first year of
use. While bone mass does tend to increase
again once the shot is discontinued, the
long term effects of the temporary bone
loss is unknown and may put users at an
increased risk of osteoporosis.
Complications
Although they are rare, there are some
serious health complications that can
occur with the use of Depo-Provera. Users
may have a slightly increased risk of
breast cancer and cervical cancer, but
study results have been conflicting. Other
possible complications include jaundice,
blood clots, severe allergic reaction and
infertility.
Effectiveness
Depo-Provera is one of the most effective
forms of hormonal birth control. On
average, the failure rate is only 0.5%.
However, the progestin contained within
Depo-Provera has been shown to cause fetal
defects. Additionally, women who become
pregnant while taking Depo-Provera have
higher neonatal and infant mortality
rates.
Women who are hoping to become pregnant
within the next year should not begin
taking Depo-Provera. It can take as much
as a year before your menstrual system
returns to normal after discontinuing the
shot.
I hope this helps. I know how it feels
when you think that you might be pregnant,
but it sounds like it's just the shot. If
you're really concerned go see your doctor
