Morning After Pill Problem Please Help Posted: 07-09-07 13:46pm
On 16 April I took the morning after pill
levonelle. My period came the following
week n the 23rd, approx 10 days early,
this lasted 11 days. Then the next one I
got was on June 1st. It is now 9 july and
my period has not come yet. This will mea
I am approaching a 40 day cycle. Is this
normal? I know I'm not pregnant obviously.
My normal cycle was 32-33 days.
Please help

The morning after pill can cause your
cycle to become uneven for several months,
coming earlier or later than normal. I
wouldn't stress about it, and just wait
for your period to start.

Is it possible that i could skip this one?
My frend said because my first period
after the morning after pill was so long
it was probalbly a double period and two
eggs were released, therefore there is
none for this period. Will I get my
period? is this actually normal?

I don't think your friend is right. The
number of eggs you release has nothing to
do with how heavy your period is.
Actually, you most likely *didn't* release
an egg, because that's what the morning
after pill prevents.
I do think it is normal to have a confused
cycle after the morning after pill.
However if you are concerned and want the
opinion of a real professional, then go
to a gynecologist. When are you due for
your yearly pap smear?

Not until december. My doctors on holicays
for the next month i think i'll ame an
appointment with her when she gets back.
Other than that should I just assume I
won't be getting my period this month?
