I don't know how many people saw my post about .Shane getting me a 2 bedroom cabin for my birthday but I took some pictures of it ( well actually alot of pictures of it ) .I'm not going to post pictures of the inside yet because it still looks pretty nasty from no one living there for 2 years but as soon as we get it looking a little better .I'll take pictures & show you guys! .Apparently whoever lived here last, wanted the outside of the cabin to have ".Indian-like designs".. .The angle that I took this picture at, it almost looks like my car is as big as the house .The back porch isn't going to look like this for long, we're going to do different railings around it & fix it all up! .We have an outhouse too .Of course there is indoor plumbing but we're going to fix up the outhouse so when we have bonfires & things in the backyard no one has to go trampling through the house! & don't mind how dead & gross the yard looks, before we started fixing everything up the grass was about 3 ft tall so it's going to take a while to get it back to life! .Just started painting the front, I was helping too but I was the only one that would take pictures so that's why .I'm not in any of them.. & the way I was lookin that day from cleanin all day, you wouldn't have wanted to see me

wow i love it hun so lucky i like it even better after the paint job. cant wait to see pics of inside when it is done.

it looks great!! you guys are doing an awesome job on it. i love cabins! and all the trees are gorgeous.. it looks like a very relaxing house.

Michelle!!! That is so cute! Thank god you painted it! i didn't want to be rude and ask if you were going to paint and then when i got to those pics i breathed a sigh of relief. i love it!

The cabin's before pics reminded me of an owl... it definitely looked tacky. I'm so glad you painted it! It's such a cute little cabin! Congrats .Michelle!

the before pictures were super awesome!!!!! but its just just as good now i dont think it looked tacky at all. i would have pained the white part pink

Wow, that coat of paint on the outside made a big difference! That is too cute though. I can't wait to see inside.

Michelle, I love it!! I'm glad you painted it tho!! I think it makes it look bigger when it's all brown. (imo) And it looks like a summer house, so you will be on summer vacation all year long. Lucky!! Congrats again.

i can just picture kaylee playing in that huge backyard! how far is town? it looks like it's out in the middle of nowhere! you're going to have so much fun. i can't wait to see it when you fix up the inside!

i am jealous i am from a nice quiet place like that and being married and living in the city i miss big ole peaceful fields where you can look out and see the starts at night....aaahhh... i'm getting homesick better stop. i am so happy for ya'll. hope the remodel goes fast so we can see

Wow thanks for all the nice comments guys! I wasn't expecting that much!! It is soo relaxing out there, that's one of the things I really love about it. It's so quiet, no one bothers you, I could probably run around naked & no one would say anything There was no doubt in my mind the second I saw the cabin that we were definatly painting it a different color! I didn't like those white designs at all!! This cabin is actually what people would use as a little landmark when they were giving directions to their house.. "Yeah, you go past the ugly white & brown cabin.." & I cannot wait til I can play with .Kaylee in the backyard, we have no yard whatsoever at the apartment so this will be a big change! It's about 15 minutes from town, not too far but yet not too close, it is pretty much in the middle of nowhere though! I told .Shane the first time I went to look at it that it looked like an owl! On the back of the house with the white before we painted it it looked like a smiley face lol. Chase for the pink, I love pink but I don't think that woulda settled too good with .Shane .Mandi I think painting it all brown makes it look bigger too, ahhh I can't wait to move in!!! .Kaerbear, it's surrounded by state game lands & it's mostly all little summer cabins around us, it's beautiful out there. .Thanks .Kay!! That's what .I'm sayin, .I'm gonna love my neighbors all being far far away .Girlfromdasticks, thanks!! .I'm hoping we remodel it fast too, we were hoping to be in there by the end of this month but we're not sure we're going to meet that goal
