I was wondering if anyone knows where I
might find a surgeon who will operate on
the nevers,tendons,legaments in my neck.
Or a doctor at least willing to look at
the possibleity. My gp refusing to give me
a second opion.
any help would be great. Even copeing
stradiggies?

Don't you have a right to get a second
opinion there and at least see a
neurologist or a neuro-surgeon? I know
that breathing and relaxing exercises
might help but if you are in pain, you are
in pain. At least get an M.R.I done or
something and possibly find out what is
going on. Does he think it is just stress.
I am no dr but I understand what pain is.
Do they have pain management dr's there. I
hope you feel better!
I am current;ly at pain clinic and they do
neve burns to try and help with pain and
they do a little take pain from 9-10 back
down to 4-5 which is good but only short
term so 2 weeks of recovery from the
procedure get one side doen then 2-3 weeks
later other side the the 2 week recovery
and by the end of 2 months bak to the 9-10
level of pain breathing does not help but
do. I am and should be able to get a
second opion but you need a referal to get
one and my GP willnot do that!!! I am very
upset about that and I also can not find a
new GP because I already have one.
Basically they say I am stuck with this
one. I have beg with the clinic closest to
me that is run by the province and they
have said no deal with your own GP and
have explained situation but they do not
care. Help I have know idea where to go or
who to turn to. I am so happy to have
found this site. I have been feeling very
lonely and scared. I was just beating
myself up. well my girls are home now and
I will be on later to night usually around
1:30am or 2:00 am do not sleep much
