Institutes For Kidney Cancer Tretment Please? Posted: 03-09-04 08:00am
Hi everybody,
my closest friend had his left kidney
removed because of kidney cancer. The
operation went ok but there has been some
dispersion of cancer cells into the liquid
that has been accumulated inside his belly
and thorax. According to doctors, there
is a very high chance that he will develop
more cancers and his life expectancy is
less than a year.
I am looking for a second opinion and the
best possible treatment. Does anyone know
which are the best institutes to treat
kidney cancer or kidney cancer metastasis?

My dad just had his left
kidney,spleen,part of his colen and lower
intestine and 2/3 of his pancreas removed
. His surgery was done at vanderbuilt
university hospital in
nashville,tennesse.He has nodules in his
lungs also.His doctors have not said for
sure what he will get for treatment.He is
still recuperating from the surgery and
cant have food by mouth for 3 weeks due to
pancrease leaking.I can let you know what
they use if interested.
