IF U THINK SOMETHING MIGHT WRONG IT WOULD
BE A GOOD IDEA TO GO TO THE DR. I THOUGHT
THE SAME THING AND THE DR SAID THAT IT WAS
HORMONAL SO SOMETHING WAS WRONG. I HOPE U
GET UR BUNDLE OF JOY SOON. IF I WAS U I
WOULDNT WASTE ANYMORE TIME JUST "THINKING
SOMETHING MIGHT BE WRONG" AND I WOULD GET
MY BUTT TO THE DR. AND FIND OUT WHAT IS
GOING ON, THATS IF U REALLY WANT THIS...
I WAS PRESCRIBED CLOMID SO NOW I AM
WAITING TILL THE END OF JULY TO SEE IF IT
WORKED.
GOOD LUCK AND KEEP US UPDATED.

I can understand your pain. I have been
off birth control for 6+ years and haven't
been doing anything to prevent it, but it
still hasn't happened.
The thing is though, you said you haven't
been trying, just not protecting. There
is a big difference. You are more than
likely not having sex at the right times.
You need to bd every other day around your
fertile time which is when you ovulate.
Do you keep track of your cycles? Do you
know when you ovulate? These things you
need to know in order to achieve
pregnancy.
I believe that the doctor will not even
refer you to a specialist until you have
been actively trying for 1 year. Not just
hit and miss trying, but actually trying
around your fertile time.
If you don't already, I would suggest that
you try temping your basal body
temperature. That way you will really
learn your body's cycle and when you
ovulate. Also I would suggest that you
try using ovulation predictor kits. They
are a good way to know when you will
ovulate.
Don't stress to much over it, just try
your timing. We are here if you need to
talk.

Thanks ladys:) They said the miscariage
was caused by some hormone problem(
honestly i kind of forget because it was a
year and a half ago ) i also around then
was cheerleading, and i didnt know i was
pregnant, and my heart rate was up a lot
of the time, and i found out that that was
dangerous, and also ( because i didnt know
) i was stunting and catching my flyer and
she hit my stomic not hard, but maybe it
was hard enough.... The baby died at 5
weeks and i was almost 8 weeks.
And im supposed to ovulate Next thursday
through monday, which is unhelpful because
my boyfriend is going to Canada:(

By the way, when i found out i was
pregnant i stopped cheerleading. It was
horrible 2, because we decided to keep the
baby on New Years and then 2 weeks later i
got the bleeding It was the worst
couple months of my life. Im scared it
will happen again. Im eating healthy right
now to, im a vegatarian, and im taking
vitamins, and having no caffine, eating
whole weat and vegtables.....

Good luck! I hope it works out for you. I
started taking multi-vitamins a few months
ago because i heard about needing folic
acid, but I would have a hard time giving
up caffeine. Plus, I would not be able to
be a vegetarian.

I think as long as you take a vitamin that
has 100% folic acid then you should be
fine. Some doctors can give you prenatal
vitamins, but I don't know what the
difference is between prenatal and
multi-vitamins. Shouldn't it be the same?

recomindations about good meds with folic
acid...?

A 100% for a pregnant woman is different
than a 100% for an average woman or an
average person. I'd compare your multi to
a prenatal to see whether your multi has
the same stuff in it. Also, check for
800mcg of folic acid in the vitamins. My
dr said that not all pre-natals have 800
mcg, so be careful.
Some multis, such as my dh's heart healthy
multi, have folic acid in them as well, so
just check the label to see whether your's
has enough.
I agree with Star about the temping and
opk. They give you information on your
body and can help your dr figure out if
something is wrong.

You take your temp with a special bbt
thermometer after you wake up but before
you get out of bed. For me this is after
the alarm goes of during either the first
or second snooze. It took a week or
two to get into the habit but then its a
reflex to grab it as you hit the snooze
button.
You then chart your temp over the month.
It changes by about 1/2 a degree based on
your hormone levels. If your hormone
levels are normal then your temp will be
low following af, rise the day after
ovulation, and stay high until af.
I use a service called fertility friend to
electronically chart my temps and share my
chart with others: http://www.fertility
friend.com/home/17d324. (Ignore this
month and last b/c I didn't temp while on
vacation so I didn't have any temps to
fill in.)

Thank you, where would you get the
thermometer? Just like a normal one from
CVS or, just a normal house hold
thermometer.

You can get a bbt thermometer at any drug
store. You need to make sure it is a bbt
one, because it measures more accurately.
Usually on the front of the package, you
will see a picture of a baby I just saw
them at Walmart last night right by the
pharmacy. It is important to try to take
your temperature at or around the same
time in the morning.
I personally get up with the alarm, go
straight for the bathroom which is 5 steps
away and take my temp while I pee. I
personally can't sit in bed waiting for
the thermometer....I usually have to run
to the potty! I think that my method is
OK??? I do it at the same time and always
after I walk into the bathroom. I think
that as long as you do it at the same time
everyday, you will be ok. Am I right
shorty or anyone else????

I take
Viactiv. |
They also sell pre-natals at the
drugstore. You should take a bottle of
the viactive and a bottle of the
pre-natals, and just compare how much
folic acid is in each. That is the most
important part of the pre-natals.

I checked online and Viactiv only has 400
mg of folic acid. I should have listen to
my gyno nd went to him before i wanted to
get pregnant so that he could give me some
prenatals.

Thank you ladies
I just discovered a walmart near me...
haha.
I kinda feel like im ovulating today....
Im really "ready" if you no what i mean.
Weird.....
I dont feel crampy though ( i cant say i
ever do though ). Maybe its because ive
never really paid attension. Hmmm....
Does that sound like ovulation? I
re-searched and it said nothing about it.
