Is eye pain caused by high blood presure ? Posted: 07-11-07 09:07am
i went to hospital yeterday 11/07/07 for a
pre op on my sinus as i,ve been having
trouble for 12 months, so i have been
taking actifed for 12 months now and was
told i need a op to sort the problem out,
also the past couple of day,s i have been
having strong pain behind my left eye and
when i went to the hospital yesterday they
told me that my blood presure was high and
they could not op on me till the presure
was down, could this be why i get pain
behind my left eye because my blood
presure is up. thank you

High blood pressure can manifest many ways
and exhibits different symptoms across
different people. “Strong pain behind
the left eye” is not a typical
manifestation of high blood pressure but
you can continue to monitor your blood
pressure as you decrease the pressure to
normal values.
