2001..Testicular cancer in the left side
(removed testical)....2005 came back in
the right side (removed it also)....hoping
someday to get a new set....because
Andro-gel (hormone therapy) is very
expensive.
Andro-gel is a testosterone gel I have to
rub on my body once a day.

There is a relation between using Androgel
and prostate disorders.
Acctually, evaluation of the patient for
prostate disorders prior to initiating and
during treatment with androgens is
appropriate.
Patients with prostate enlargement that
are treated with androgens are at an
increased risk for worsening of signs and
symptoms of BP.
Patients treated with androgens may be at
increased risk for prostate cancer.
In some patients, increase of serum PSA
(prostate-specific antigen is a protein
produced by the cells of the prostate
gland and PSA test measures the level of
PSA in the blood, prostate cancer, benign
prostate enlargement, inflammation,
infection, age, and race are different
reasons for elevated PSA) is seen after
first year of therapy with this gel.

You are welcome!
I don't mean to cause you excessive
worries.
I just wanted to make you aware about
possible risks and that you need check ups
to prevent them.
Have a good, healthy day!
