If you are experiencing constipation when you diet, I would suggest taking psyllium to get regulated. You can use Metamucil or any with psyllium husks in it. We have one at our clinic and since I have been taking it, I have absolutely normal bowel movements and my irritable bowel syndrome has virtually gone away!

I prefer to use fiber tablets when I get constipated - I use a chewable version. You can also make sure you consume enough whole grains or fibers - while I was pregnant, I ate bran flakes every day for breakfast, and that did the trick!

You might also consider digestive probiotics, which can really help keep things "regular." Decreasing your dairy intake can also help, since dairy (especially cheeses & milk) have a tendency to stop people up.

Solution?
Posted: 08-29-08 23:19pm

This is my deal: I do not have bowel movements at all unless I use natural supplements recommended by a friend who is a Vagen. She said to try NOW products which include 1 tspn. of calcium and 1 1/2 tspns. of magnesium. I mix it with orange juice. If I do not do this I do not go to the bathroom at all. It has caused major anziety and even depression. This all started when I did not go to the bathroom for a month and then all the sudden I had this horrible experience inside the bathroom of a department store. I went to a physician that recommended castore oil and some other remmedy that was useless. I use the supplements twice a week and have a little diarrea but it's alot better than nothing at all. Does anyone have any other solutions?

Ok,
you want to know how to get rid of constipation, infrequent bowel movements, not going at all, or how to make going to the bathroom to do #2 alltogether easy?
I found the secret 2 years ago and it totally cured all the above symtoms I was having. My herbal specialist handed it to me and I am going to hand it to you guys. It's called ACOG Herbal Master Body & Colon Cleanse. Sounds alittle different but this stuff totally streamlines the bowel movement and digestion process in your body without rushing you to the bathroom. Before I took ACOG I might have went to the bathroom once every 2 weeks and when I did go, it hurt. When I started taking ACOG my bowel movements were noticably softer which made going to the bathroom a lot easier. I was shocked I was going to the bathroom every day with no stress, rushing, or constipation. I now use the bathroom like a normal person and it feels great! You guys can get it online or at the health food store. Google it.
