Withdrawal method (pulling out the penis
before ejaculation) is not a secure
contraceptive method. Condoms, birth
control pills, and IUDs (intra-uterine
devices) are the most secure contraceptive
methods. An IUD is not recommended for you
but you should really think about using
condoms or pills.
Precum can contain spermatozoids and
theoretically can make you pregnant but
practically the number of present
spermatozoids in the precum is so small
that pregnancy is unlikely.
The first serious sign of pregnancy is
missing the expected period. According to
your last period date you will probably
know somewhere in the middle of June.
Missing the expected period is the first
but not always the most secure sign of
pregnancy because there are certain other
conditions that can also cause a missing
period. That’s why a pregnancy test is
the only way you can find out if you are
pregnant or not. Home pregnancy tests
(tests that use urine) can detect a
pregnancy after a period is missing (15-20
days after conception). Blood pregnancy
tests are performed in medical
institutions and they can detect pregnancy
even 5 days before the expected period
date (or 10 days after conception).
Pregnancy can be detected when the
fertilized egg-cell embeds in the uterus
and that happens 8-10 days after
conception. This means that there is no
way you can find out if you are pregnant
or not in the first 8-10 days after
conception.
Pregnancy age is counted starting from the
date of the last period. This means that
when a period is missed the pregnancy is
already more than 4 weeks old. A blood
pregnancy test can detect pregnancy in the
4th week.
